Far Cry, Half-Life 2, and Halo were used to measure Direct 3D game performance. The Very High graphics option was enabled in Far Cry, which consists of the following detailed settings.

Ubisoft's Research, Volcano, Regulator, and Training levels were used to benchmark Far Cry. Results were generated from an automated script that ran each benchmark three times and the third result was used.

The following chart reports the minimum frame rate from each level when benchmarked at a resolution of 1600x1200 with 4X antialiasing enabled.

As with Doom 3, SLI offers significant increases in the performance of Far Cry. With 4X antialiasing enabled at a resolution of 1280x1024, the average increase across the four levels was 47%. At 1600x1200, the average increase was 57%.
