Albatron GeForce TC6200Q Review - Page 6 of 8

FAR CRY

Despite using entry-level cards, tests were run with quality selected in-game settings to test DX9 capabilities.

Far Cry Results - Intel 3.4E - Fort Demo

Albatron GeForce TC6200Q 64MB/256MB - 350/500

Albatron GeForce TC6200Q 64MB/256MB - 450/700

NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache 16MB/128MB - 350/700

NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache 16MB/128MB - 450/750

I would like to see 40 FPS to play Far Cry, but 30 FPS is not bad for an entry level card. One thing I have noticed about both these TurboCache-equipped cards is that maybe they are not fast as the PC6600, and above, but visually graphics are top notch.

HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED

Pixel Shader 2.0 code path was forced for this benchmark. Resolutions of 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x1024 were used with (0x and 8x) anisotropic filtering settings.

Albatron GeForce TC6200Q 64MB/256MB

NVIDIA GeFORCE 6200 TurboCache 16MB/256MB - 350/700

Resolution of 800x600 proved to be the optimum settings for the Albatron TC6200Q, especially overclocked, providing acceptable game play. Halo was a little too demanding for the TC6200 16/128MB.
