With Quake 2, you begin to see the extra performance offered by the DDR memory of the Annihilator Pro when using 32-bit color at resolutions greater than 800x600. In most cases, the use of DDR memory is providing a 15-25% increase in frame rates at these settings with the exception being the CPU intensive Crusher demo.
The Annihilator Pro also maintains a slight edge over the GeForce SDR in 16-bit color as well.
