As with Quake 2, the Annihilator Pro kicks in high gear at 1024x768 in 32-bit color and provides a whopping 43% increase in frame rate, from 40 to 57 fps, over the GeForce SDR. In 16-bit color, you see the benefit of DDR memory at 1280x1024 (25% increase over the SDR) and at 1600x1200 (21%).
Since a Pentium 2-450MHz isn't fast enough to keep the Annihilator Pro running at its capacity in lower resolutions, I've provided a link to benchmark results at 640x480 on a Pentium 3-700MHz over at AnandTech. Additional Quake 3 benchmarks are provided on the Overclocking results page.
