BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC Review - Page 1 of 10

INTRODUCTION

Virtually everyone agrees that the NVIDIA 7800 GTX is resounding success (that is, unless you are like this guy). This review will cover the BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC Overclocked from BFG Technologies. Most any gamer worth his or her salt knows all about BFG Technologies. If you are new to the PC gaming scene, rest assured that BFG Technologies is one of the premiere hardware vendors of video cards for the PC platform.

BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC

If this is the first 7800 GTX review you are reading then please take a look at Mike Chambers' very informative NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX Preview article. Mike's article will provide you with all the features, technical specifications, and more regarding the 7800 GTX in general.

I decided to cover two upcoming games (F.E.A.R. and Dungeon Siege II) instead of just going through the motions with Doom 3, Half-Life 2, etc. The goal here is to offer you something new and interesting thrown at the 7800 GTX. In the case of F.E.A.R. in particular, I wanted to really try to push the 7800 GTX more than current game engines can. Additionally, I'll show some IQ (image quality) examples of NVIDIA's new transparency antialiasing mode. Remember, if you want to quench your thirst for bulleted lists of features and specs just head over here.
