The Apogee AA5700U arrived in a familiar-looking white box, which I initially saw at last years Chaintech Reloaded event. At one point during the conference, members of the online press voted between two similarly designed boxes - one with the archer in black and white and one colored. The result of the voting is proudly displayed on the box you see here.
Retail Box - Front
The back of the box lists the specifications of the Apogee AA5700U and the extras inside the box.
Retail Box - Back
The inside of the box is packaged to protect the graphics card during shipping. Both sides of the graphics card are protected with Styrofoam.
Tadaa!
The area underneath the graphics card is where additional items are stored.
Additional Items
Additional items include five feet of S-Video cable, an S-Video to Composite, adapter, a Molex Y-adapter, a DVI to VGA adapter, an instruction manual, a Q Ball monitor cleaner, and a case of CDs.
The Q Ball is a handy device that wipes dust from the monitor. The bottom of the Q Ball has a soft, leathery feel, which is great for removing fingerprints from the screen. And some of us know how annoying fingerprints are :)
The Full Bundle
The software bundle consists of 3Deep, which is no longer supported, Intervideo's WinProducer 3.0, WinDVD 4, WinDVD Creator, and WinRip, Chaintech's Graphics Overclocking System Utiliy (GOSU), a 5-in-1 game demo CD, and the full version of Commandos 3.
