For Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, I chose the human side and played in the North American campaign. I followed the same basic path with
different firefights each time.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Benchmarks
This game seems to play about the same regardless of the video settings. It is fluid across the board. This is another game that's capped at
60 frames per second, so the video card could've averaged a lot higher without the cap.
CRYSIS
Well, when Crysis wasn't busy crashing my PC, I was able to take a few benchmarks of a good firefight. I must say, this is an impressive game
when it's running. The graphics are just as stunning as the original FarCry. Add that with the coolness of the nanosuit
and this is one rockin' game!
Crysis Benchmarks *
* My original Crysis benchmarks were flawed, with 4xAA outperforming 0xAA. After people brought this to my attention in the forums, I revisited
the benchmark a couple of times. The first time I saw the same results. The second time I abandoned the settings in the nVidia Control Panel using
the beta ForceWare driver version 169.09. The control panel was set to use application controlled AA. I made the AA settings only in the Crysis
application, and re-benchmarked. The results above are the revisited benchmarks. Thanks to everyone in the forum who brought this to my attention.
