At the resolution of 1920x1200, the average frame rate of the GeForce 9600 GT trailed the GeForce 8800 GT by 11.9%. In one of the larger variances between the two graphics cards, Call of Duty 4 with no antialiasing was 18% faster on the GeForce 8800 GT.

The average frame rate of the GeForce 9600 GT trailed the GeForce 8800 GT by 13.6% in the next series of games, but Crysis with medium settings was 23% slower on the GeForce 9600 GT. However, the GeForce 9600 GT kept up nicely with the GeForce 8800 GT in the remaining games that were tested.
Performance at 1920x1200
At 1920x1200, the minimum frame rate dropped below 30 fps on the GeForce 9600 GT in the following tests.

Avg: 52 Min: 27 fps - Quake 4 - 4x AA
Avg: 46 Min: 26 fps - Call of Duty 4 - 4x AA
Avg: 21 Min: 14 fps - Crysis - No AA - High Quality
