As the resolution rose to 2560x1600, so did the increase in the average frame rate of the GeForce GTX 295 over the GeForce GTX 280. However, performance seems to have topped out as the increase was only 3% - from 50% at 1920x1200 to 53% at 2560x1600.
Far Cry 2
The GeForce GTX 295 maintained an average frame rate of at least 60 fps in 7 of the 13 tests compared to none on the GeForce GTX 280. However, under the highest quality in-game settings, the GeForce GTX 295 failed to achieve an average of 30 fps in the most demanding titles which include Crysis Warhead (Gamer setting) and Crysis (Very High setting).
