AQUAMARK3
I like
Aquamark3 since it is based on an actual
game engine and allows you a plethora of innovative options in the professional
version.
Aquamark3
Below are the results
from the full Aquamark3 benchmark at the default clock speeds of 500/1000.
Aquamark3 Benchmark Results @ 500/1000
Ramping up to my
overclocked settings of 555/1050 yielded only marginal improvement of ~2-3fps
for each test as shown below.
Aquamark3 Benchmark Results @ 555/1050
3DMark2003
I
didn't spend much time with
3DMark2003 but I do have the overall score. Overclocking at 555/1050 impressively ran through 3DMark2003 with no
lockups.
The score was only 20 points lower at 500/1000 so the overclocking just proved
stability but with no major gain in performance paired with my particular CPU
and system.
Note: It came to my attention late in this review that the 53.03 Forceware
drivers are not listed on
Futuremark's Approved Drivers page. Timing issues did not permit me to
revert back to the approved 52.16 Forceware drivers but I hope to update this
part of the review in the future.
UPDATE: Scores now shown below with 52.16 drivers.
3DMark2003 Scores
6,257 @ 550/1050
6,235 @ 500/1000

"approved" 52.16 drivers
