Inno3D GeForce 7900 GS Review - Page 7 of 7

CONCLUSION

If you've been reading, I think the obvious conclusion is that this graphics card ROCKS. Inno3D has a real gem on their hands here. For the approximate $200 price, the GeForce 7900 GS fits perfectly into NVIDIA's lineup between the GeForce 7600 GT and the GeForce 7900 GT.

It even encroaches on the GeForce 7900 GT's territory if you're lucky enough to get a overclocking-friendly model. Even with 4 fewer pixel pipelines than a GT/GTX and relatively "low" clock speeds at stock settings, the Inno3D GeForce 7900 GS performed exceptionally well.

Inno3D's GeForce 7900 GS is more than capable of handling the most demanding sessions of gaming for those looking to upgrade from a less capable graphics card. Plus, the graphics card Windows Vista Ready, ensuring an easy transition to the new OS.

For the price, the performance can't be beat. With the next generation G80 on the horizon, the GeForce 7900 GS makes a great transitional stopgap between an older graphics card and the latest and greatest a few months away. It isn't the fastest graphics card out there, but the GeForce 7900 GS is able to handle all of today's most demanding games at a very reasonable price.

Thanks to Caroline over at Inno3D for sending us this awesome graphics card!
