Ever wanted to know what the temperature of your processor is in the middle of that game you were playing? How about the
amount of time left on that track you're listening to in iTunes? Maybe you just want to have a few LEDs scroll back and
forth like K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider. With the MX610 PLED Display from
Matrix Orbital, all of your wildest dreams will
come true. Well, that may be a little bit of an overstatement, but it is definitely a case-modder's dream come true.
The MX610 PLED Display from Matrix Orbital is a Polymer Light Emitting Diode display
with 2 rows of 20 columns for
text and special characters. The text and special characters are controlled by included software and a controller board
that is part of the actual MX610 unit. The unit itself fits into one 5 1/4 inch drive bay. Aside from that, it's one
of the coolest components you can get for your case.
