In my last review, I utilized the HardwareOC version of the Regulator demo. For this review, I used the built in Regulator demo.
I did not change the game settings from last time, everything was set to high.
Far Cry Settings
The Regulator demo seems to have a good array of stressful graphics goodies that keeps the graphics card on its toes. The
following charts show the benchmark results.
Far Cry 1024x768
Far Cry 1280x1024
Far Cry 1600x1200
There was not much difference in Far Cry at 1024x768 between single card and SLi. SLi shows major improvements at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.
HALF-LIFE 2: LOST COAST
Last time around, I used HardwareOC's demo for Lost Coast. This time, I used the Video Stress Test that is included with Half-Life 2: Lost
Coast. I did not change the game settings from last time, everything was set to high.
Half-Life 2 Settings
The following charts show the benchmark results for Half-Life 2: Lost Coast.
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast 1024x768
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast 1280x1024
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast 1600x1200
For 0AA/0AF, HL2: LC did not show large improvements between single card and SLi. The higher the resolution, and the higher the Antialiasing
and Anisotropric Filtering, we start to see large differences between single card and SLi.
