MSI is well known for their motherboards, but did you know that they rank #1
in GeForce3 graphic card production? Did you know that MSI is actually the
manufacturers of Creative Annihilator cards? It's true, and we're going to take
a look at their StarForce 822 GeForce3 card today. I was surprised this week
when Mad Onion posted it's fastest webmaster contest results. I had expected to
see a Ti500 card in first place. Instead, a rig using an MSI GeForce3 card
overclocked to 255/568 had
scored 9,394 points in 3DMark2001. That's proof in the pudding if you ask me.
When was the last time that you got a score that high?

One thing to note is that this card does support TV-in and
TV-out, which makes it a prime candidate for those whom wish to do video editing
or wanting a good card to watch DVD's with. Another thing to note is MSI's great
distribution. So rather than reading a review on a card which is impossible to
find in the retail sector; the StarForce 822 is more than likely to be available
for purchase at a local retail store or via web ordering.
