The Thermalright XP-90 is one cool looking
piece of hardware. The term "hot rod" comes to mind just looking at it.
I just couldn't resist.

Notice the fan retention clip wires. This is a nice solution that allows for
quick and easy removal of the fan while still providing excellent hold.
Thermalright XP-90 - Installed -Clearance
As you can see in the photo above; there is plenty of clearance for even the
tallest of capacitors.

You've gotta love the barrel distortion with my aging Nikon 775. Trust me, it
all looks much more square in person.

The XP-90 is more compatible than it's larger cousin, the XP-120. The only
motherboard that the XP-90 has an issue with happens to be my motherboard, the
Gigabyte K8 series. I had to order a standard metal backplate as Gigabyte uses a
plastic backplate which is not strong enough. More info can be
found here.
