As expected, GPU temperatures were noticeably lower than the GeForce 8800 GT. Idle temperature was 54° C while a peak temperature of 66° C was reached under load with the fan speed at the default of 50%. Fan noise became noticeable at 62%, where the temperature leveled off at 63° C.
