XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition Review - Page 4 of 7

BIOSHOCK

By far, this is my favorite recent game. The visuals are stunning. I find myself completely immersed in a very creepy world every time I boot the game up. For this review, I went up against a Big Daddy with a shotgun and then harvested a Little Sister.

BioShock Benchmarks

The XFX didn't do very well with BioShock using any sort of AA. Averaging 56.6 frames per second with no AA was pretty decent, though.

BioShock Comparison

We can see the difference between the XFX and the EVGA with a 28 frame per second decrease using 4xAA, and a 26 frame per second decrease using 8xAA. The cards perform similarly when not using AA.
