XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition Review - Page 7 of 7

CONCLUSION

The GeForce 8800 GT's are awesome cards, but this one seemed a bit underpowered at times with the lower amount of RAM. It's a great card if you don't plan on using some features like high levels of antialiasing. Unfortunately, enthusiasts have come to expect their latest generation cards to be able to turn those types of features. At at a price point coming in about $60 cheaper than the XFX 8800GT 512MB, this card is perfect for the budget gamer.

The XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition, with 256MB RAM, earns a Base Hit. Thanks to XFX for providing the review sample.
