Prior to receiving this card, the majority of my gaming was done on a heavily overclocked Gainward GeForce3 Ti 200. I had chosen Gainward since I knew they made a reliable product, have above average image quality, and incredible overclockability. Before having tested the XFX GeForce4 Ti 4200, I was somewhat skeptical to its overall quality and performance.
But as I conclude my first review, I can attest to the fact that XFX has jumped to the front of the line of add-in manufacturers of NVIDIA-based graphics cards. In nearly every aspect, XFX has matched or bested Gainward. As mentioned earlier, this is no small feat. Rather, it is a testament to their committment to reaching the top and being considered a key player in the market.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to thank XFX for providing me with a review sample of their latest card. It should be noted that the card was simply mailed to me with no further information or recomendations. I was pleased to see that XFX was confident enough in their product that they did not feel the need to "plant ideas." In the end, their confidence is definitely warranted as this card is one the the highest quality graphics cards I have ever used.
As such, I encourage others to consider XFX. They combine the performance you demand with prices you've only dreamed of until now. XFX should be proud, as their latest offering captured my respect and receives straight A's in my book.
