Force app thru Socks?

Is there a way to force an app thru a Socks proxy?
I know some have network settings where it can be set there, but what if you want to tunnel something?

Using OpenSSH at home and Putty here, along with Freecap.

Right now it is pushing Opera and WoW thru SOCKS. :D

Ghost, I'm still looking into SQUID. I just don't have the time right now.
