The 100.14.19 NVIDIA Accelerated FreeBSD Graphics Driver Set for FreeBSD/i386 is available for download.
If you can't wait for the updated port, just change PORTVERSION and then do 'make makesum'.
It works with X.org 7.3, but, despite the changelog, it still suffers the problem about not usable terminal consoles after X is started.

Everything works fine on my 7-Current / Xorg 7.3 , both built today.
It works great for my HP DV9060 2Duo Core laptop also.
Has anyone ever tried using NetBSD on any nvidia graphic card on any laptops?
NetBSD installs but with small resolution.
I got NetBSD installed on my Toshiba but I preferred my HP.
I'm not sure if nvidia is going to support NetBSD.
Why? I have a usb-converter that I can't figure out the /dev/???? for my Cisco labs on my freeBSD.
I'm betting that I have much better luck with NetBSD.

I installed the 100.14.19 release, and loading the resulting nvidia kernel module does not result in the creation of /dev/nvidia0 and /dev/nvidiactl. I am using a 7300LE. How can I proceed with this investigation?
Thank you.
After installing 100.14.19, run your nvidia-xconfig utility. The 100.14.18 should have installed it already. This will change your xconfig with nvidia proper driver, then try to verify with your startx command.
