Well never since vista came out was i able to run dreamscene very long , or even turn on without the.... U know... Driver stopped responding,until i went into device manager and manully updated the:: {high precision event timer}{Intel pci bridge 244 E}::Because with useing the lastest intel utility, {INF update utility} would not change these two device's from microsoft's driver.Well now i got brave again and ran dreamscene with everything i could throw at it and it ran flawless, no kidding!.that is with driver 163.71.Earlier before i updated the 2 devices i could not even
start dreamscene without the driver crash ,now what is wird is the new driver 163.75 will crash when i start dreamscene ,go figure well stickin with 163.71 cause i paid too much for vista ultimate just for the dam icandy anyway's hope it helps someone else with the 8800 cards
