Woot i just got Cable Internet

I am so happy :D :D :D :D

I had crappy AOL DSL , my ping in games has been avg 250ms

Now its avg 50 on some even 40ms :drooling: i love you Comcast Cable :angel:

Download speed is the same avg 160 KB/s tops at 300 or so :p

I know that feeling well, about 3-4 months ago I went from 56K to a good DSL and WOW!!!! :eek2:

Try going from AOL dialup (< 3KB/sec) to Optimum Online Cable (> 1300KB/sec) like I did almost 2 years ago.

I needed new pants.

Mine is advertised as 1500 down and 256 up

That is pretty cool i just got Linksys router , have 2 pc connected one is for Internet Browseing other for Games i so love it , some times i get ping as low as 9ms :eek:

A year ago last month i upgraded cable dial up (top 3.5k) to Cable broadband 512k/128k (60k/15k) in some games i get a ping of 10 :eek: amazing i can tell you, but then you guys know as you have faster connection :rolleyes:

I have been thinking of upgrading to 1Mbit but 512k is good enough for games really and i don't downloads lots lots of stuff so why bother.

Good cable is equitable to good DSL. It doesn't really matter.

Nothing worst then AOL.. the AOL DSL was so crappy though, my friend had it and moved to Comcast after I did.
