So you're supporting Mike's forums AND doing regular work? :D
Hey, it's not like using an OS that doesn't multi-task well, like Windows!
There you go nekrosoft, the annoying Windows/Microsoft slam for the day. You can't expect me to quit cold-turkey.

I think you're confusing XP with Vista.
There you go, everyone else, my annoying Vista slam for the day. ;)

I got the time syncing with the atomic clock now so it's accurate, this occurs nightly, and compensates for RTC drift like we've seen. The clock was 6 minutes fast and was corrected.
Need to take the DB offline again to perform a schema update.Oooh, the schema :captnkill:
Dangerous word. Proceed with caution...

In this context you don't refer to it as "jargon" but rather as the "vernacular form", because that's what it is ... slang.

His name serves no purpose if we don't know what he's hosting.

MikeC's the guy hosting all the stuff, I'm just the monkey on the other end of a SSH session making the server happy.
Pretty easy. Right Click "My Computer", select "Properties", "Performance", and I moved the slider from "Phast" to "Phreaking Phast". The "Ph" denotes that the server booted with "elite=1" in the BOOT.INI
