It will most likely be based on the 65nm process but the architecture itself will be an improved 8-series one, with more and improved SPs, more shader power, more memory bandwidth and faster memory.

Well, do you guys think NVIDIA will release an 8950 GX2 with 65NM technology? I think that would be the best buy with my Asus Maximus Formula SE Intel X38 non-SLI setup.

yup, the next highend is going to be 8series dual chipcard, probably on the same PCB because it will be 65nm part and with a dual slot heatsink, I would love that, since it will get rid of the need for sli, for me on p35, since I have had nightmare experience with all 680i boards from different manufacturers.
