I just upgraded my Dell Inspiron 8100 notebook to RedHat 9 from RedHat 7.2. I downloaded the latest Nvidia driver (1.0-4349) and ran the installer to install the driver, and made the suggested modifications in XF86Config. My notebook supports 1600x1200 and I have a Geforce 2 go 32 MB video card. But I can't get the 1600x1200 resolution and the 24bit color depth. Below is my XF86Config file and attached is the log file following startx -- -logverbose 5.
Please help.

P.S. With Redhat 7.2 and NVIDIA 1.0-2314 driver I could get 1600x1200 resolution with 24 bit clor depth.
