No, it's entirely different. :)
You know this for a fact or just making words?
Remember, www.gamershell.com is the best download site ever. I always get max speed downloads from there. :)
Gamershell is OK.. IMO FileFront beats it by a longshot, though. No trying to find a server that isn't clogged, and solid download speeds always.
false alarm then.. :captnkill:

Actually this looks like a little mistake since the demo is still on track - that's why we work so hard as well

This has been stated forever that it will be exactly the same level they showed on E3 called Contact and is the first whole level.

Link cannot be provided as it comes from a location covered by an NDA, so not accessable to the public, only Crysis beta testers have access to the location where Cry-Alex gave that statement.

No video card ages worse than a high end one. Yes there is a difference in the fps between gts and gtx but does it justify the difference in price which is twofold, and when you consider the near release of the 9th series things become not so clear as to which card is better for the moment. In the end it all depends mainly upon how much quid are you keen on ditching. When Farcry came out several years back I played it on a 5900XT and not Ultra on high instead of very high settings, and now when I try to play it and set everything on very high I can't say that I see so much of a difference, the same will apply to Crysis no doubt for me.

All cards age the same, if let's say a game comes out, and the gts dips below 30fps, and the GTX stays above it, then the GTX still has more value for money. I'd say that the high end ages the least if anything.

going from a GTS to a GTX isn't going to make your games run much faster! maybe 5-10 on the low end, and 5-10 on the top end .. i'd seriously think about it :)
Come on !

33% more Stream Processors (unified shader) that's the most important thing IMHO ! Come on !
10% more shader and core and memory speed clock and memory Amount Come on !
20% more size of memory interface come on !
30% more Memory Bandwidth and Texture Fill Rate Come on !
The differences in fps depends on the type of game but definitely more than 10 fps
IMHO :D

Is the editor still part of the SP demo?
I'm actually looking forward to that more then anything.

That's a whole different story though. The GeForce FX series were horrible.

Sweet. 5 more days..
I have a feeling this is going to be huge.
Here's hoping it will be even more impressive (which it should be) than the beta which has been out for a little while now..

Actually, I loved my 5950U. It flew through any game I threw at it. CoD, FarCry, HL2, etc. It was a nice card. Not the king, but it was nice still. ;)
