I passed on the beta's for crysis because i didn't want the game to be 'spoiled', thing is, i can't wait any longer. Tommorow morning i will be downloading this demo for sure. :D

So I guess it won't be a 9AM unlock, it'll be a 9AM download. There'll be THOUSANDS of people trying to DL this the second that counter gets to 0:00:00. I'm not expecting to be able to play this for at least a few hours after the release.

After looking at the size of the current demo. I would say around 2.1gb-2.7gb The map should be bigger. And all the new textures might be an extra 200-300mb like the first beta updates.

I mean heck.. UT3 can do it in ~700-800mb with multiple maps and lots more weapons/vehicles (albiet textures are lower res than Crysis demo will be).

I think they know that if they push the demo size too high then it will stop too many people playing it :)

i really hope it is a fully featured demo:o

as for the release date of the 26th some on the crysis forum are saying maybe that is the release date for the EA pre order demo deal and the rest of us get it on saturday instead :(

Oh guys btw, there's an editor being shipped with the demo!!....there's another 1gb on top of the already what, 1.5-2bg.

My guess is around 3gb total for the whole thinger.

I don't think is a time zone release. It say's worldwide release 9:00AM German time. So that's 8AM in the UK :)

I calculated mine on 9AM tomorrow, and I live in GMT+1, same zone as Germany

Crysisdemo timer showing 2am Friday for me Central time. They must have changed something because last night it showed it to be released at 9am Friday
