If I pre order from the EA store, can I make a backup of the game to DVD? and only use the store to activate it when I play?

Crysisdemo.com counter is useless, its using the clock on your system to determine time left.

Seriously put the clock forward one day on your system and the counter changes to "download" without a link obviously.

Yeah, it sais 15 hours for me as well. But that timer is Fd up. Everyone should have the same countdown. If you change your windows time, the countdown timer will change,.

EA Store would have been a viable option if it wasnt for the fact the game is £10 dearer online than in stores for us brits.

LoL, same here. I'm still at work but constantly updated several web pages to see what the heck is going on.

All I find is lots of guessing and total silence from EA and Crytek. :thumbdwn:

May not be noon where you are but at the Crytek offices its around 7:30pm. That's not good, they left for home already. :(

Wow I thought I would come in here to find Pre-Order peoples screenshots. I didn't expect this type of thing from Crytek, EA yes but not Crytek. I think they're loosing control at this point and EA is taking over. I do feel sorry for those that pre-ordered and expected to be playing by now. As far as I can tell that counter is totally useless and the demo will not come out at midnight tonight. He's just building hits for his google ads. I'm taking tomorrow off work as I did for Sep.25 as well. If I sit at home till noon using my last hours of Vaca time to watch a counter, I will be pissed. I have a small feeling it will be out midnight tonight for all though, smaller hit on the servers at midnight but I'm sure many of you will be up as well.
