Does this release ALSO require EDID info from the monitor, thus making it absolutely useless to countless users? Can someone find this out?

I've got these up also now.

XP version is a little harder to get, should have this in an hour or so.

Modded INF for those that need it also up.

Well? Are these drivers safe/stable?

Why did they increase the numbers so much? 163 to 167 is pretty big.

These are a new series of drivers.
Probably first started with 165.01

There seems to be 2 versions of this and the XP drivers
The original driver from post 1 is the one to get (I also have this uploaded)
Other versions seem to have a missing file stopping the driver from loading. (I see some have this issue)
The XP drivers also from post 1 in the XP section have all the files, other versions have a heap of files missing (attempting English only)
I also have the full version of this uploaded.

Some Notebook users are reporting better performance.
But Powermizer is disabled in this driver.

nV system information is reporting back all sorts of wrong info.
So treat these are VERY beta.

How about BioShock? Any working AA? Not that it matters in my case, but just curious.

It's the engine of Bioshock, not the driver :)

Are you sure, I think its actually just a "blur AA" which is not real AA?? But dont take my word for it, but I have heard many people not being able to activate real AA in Bioshock, not that it matters bc Bioshock looks great without it! :)

Ps. Are these stable, read some people saying they got BSODīs with these when installing and when playing some games??? Please report back if you can! Thx

haha you Vista guys are silly.

AA works in XP with Bioshock, RS Vegas, Stranglehold (if I rename the .exe to bioshock.exe) and UT3 (renaming the .exe trick works).

XP FTW!!

Wait, seriously? Like it doesn't work? 'cuz I had mine at 4x, but had major jaggies, yet with lag. So it wasn't working, but still took a performance hit. So, I turned it off and BAM, gained 30FPS with absolutely no difference in visual quality. Weird...
