*gasps for air after title*

Right! Finally some in-game footage!!!

Looking sweet, they've implemented Widescreen and they've also included remixed music! There was quite a bit of fanmade music on the internet that I hoped to god they would use, and thankfully (for me) they have listened to the fans and implemented that too!!

I can't wait to be playing this on my HDTV :D

LOVE the music :D

Man it looks nice, but I'm still VERY concerned about the gameplay changing with the larger widescreen fighting areas. Although it does like they simply chopped some height off the screen... hmm.

in interview, capcom said it has option to change to 4:3. i don't see there'll be a problem. if widescreen's not working well for you, you can switch back to 4:3.

anyway, it looks so sweet. i'm going to buy it for sure.

Oh good. This game actually makes me interested in getting a 360.

This is probably quite sad but I think I'll be buying it for both 360 and PS3!

I can't stand playing beat 'em ups with a 360 controller so I'll be buying it for the PS3 so I can play it with my brother. However, I have more friends on Xbox Live than I do on PSN, so I'll be buying it from XBLA so I don't leave my friends out!

Anyway, this is so cool, especially the new music and sound effects! If they keep it the same as the original (like they said they would), this is going to be right up there with 3rd Strike for me!

some of the moves have been made easier and how characters will be more balanced. Specifically, he talks a lot about how certain moves will now require fewer buttons to pull off, and “mash moves” (where you press a button repeatedly, like with E. Honda’s Hundred Hand Slap) will take fewer button presses.

WTF.

WTF.

Yeah that's what I said too. I can understand what they are saying, but you should have the option to at least play the game in it's original fashion as well as this nOOb friendly version.

They do have the option to play the original, with the new graphics, but without the rebalancing and other changes.

Here's the quote and a link before someone asks.

"In short, Sirlin discusses how he aims to make the game more approachable to a larger audience, while rebalancing each fighter to ensure that the title is perfected for tournament play. Purists need not worry: the HD remix will allow gamers to choose to play an unaltered, arcade-perfect version of the original Super Street Fighter II Turbo, which uses the enhanced graphics and sounds but includes none of the rebalancing.
