Hope someone can suggest why this system worked fine for about one week, but now freezes after a few seconds or minutes.
MB: Jetway 830CH
CPU: Duron 1.3
I don't mention RAM because I have tried 2 different kinds, both over spec for its requiremens.
I don't mention video beause it has on board video.
I don't think the problem is over heating because it can fail at reasonable temperatures as well as temperatures 10-15 deg higher that usual. I am currently running it with case open.
The bios doesn't have many options to tweak, but problem occurs with standard defaults and I can't underclock it.
It will freeze running MemTest86, so I don't need to consider Windows or HDD etc.
I'm kind'a out of ideas here.
