I have to agree with the expansion pack issue, especially where EA is concerned. Their expansion packs keep getting lighter and lighter. I went through spearhead in 2 days.

companies like Epic with UT's frequent patches/free expansion packs know how to support their product.

the difference being, for Epic its a labor of love and they make good money at it.

for EA its about getting all the $ they possibly can.

They make a prime candidate for my "Don't hold strong opinions about things you don't understand" award.

There should be a word in the English language that describes that characteristic... maybe there is? anyone?

Anyway people who voice strong opinions about things they don't understand are a pet peeve of mine. I especially despise people who argue their fanatical opinions and beliefs even when they are in direct contradiction to known facts. This includes, but is not limited to, anti-nuclear environmentalists, peace-loving hippies, religious evangelists and the "moms who believe computer games are the cause of all evil in our society" crowd.
