It was the same thing with Farcry, when it came out, nobody could run it on MAX. Samething goes for Crysis, and new GFX cards will arrive early next year.

The demo is going to be released officially on Friday, October 26th at 1:00PM (GMT+1). It will be exclusively available for those who pre-ordered Crysis for about 24hours via the EA downloader. On Saturday, October 27th at 1:00PM the demo will be put online for download an all public sites, so keep tracking your favourite fan site."


So we don't even get it until Saturday afternoon when it's perfectly ready right now?? Good job EA/Crytek

Crysis MP will probably be going for years. Look at CS Source. In fact Halo 2 is still a masively played game online.

There's also gonna be many mods mithinks!

Actually by now it should be properly unlocked (for the pre-order guys) if we can trust the official announcement but yes the pre-order demo idea is a maximum failure. :thumbdwn:

Still my hope is going strong even when I got only 3h of sleep thanks to all the mess. :D

Ah FFS! Just what I feared but never thought it would be this bad....

From those screens mums posted... 8fps max on very high!!!!!!!! WFT!!

I knew this would happen! Disaster! Okay so maybe you can add on another 3fps onto that for actual game (cause this is sandbox)... Around 10-11fps thats ridiculous...

And for me I've just almost lost interest... Those screens do look amazing but the damn performance means I most likely can't 100% max it and thats all that matters to me... Damn i'm dissapointed...

He's running it with a GTS 320 and thus there are memory limitations at very high. Hell even at high i've seen memory peak what a gts 640 has, but Crysis is one of the few exceptions these days that actually needs more than 320mb of vram without AA maxed. And even then, people with Ultras are complaining about bad performance at medium resolutions without AA.. so yeah, new generation of cards here we come ^^
