I found it in a link back to pages here. But why isn't it on Fileplanet and how do i get a key?

Because the official public release isn't until tomorrow.

Pre-orderers only, but you can av a look with teh SandBox thingy. The rest of us get it tomorrow :(

Running great here with the EA preorder.

The game is amazing. Seriously, only played a little bit so far though.

Somehow I knew no matter how bad it played, you'd be here praising it. I think amazing is an overstatement.

Crysis Singleplayer Demo Released

A day earlier than expected, the Crysis singleplayer demo is now available. The 1.77gb download includes one singleplayer level, and also allows you to look at the Sandbox2 editor.

According to this it was release early, 7 mins ago!

Not sure but its on http://www.shacknews.com/ which is a fairly trusted site

I do not understand very well why. If I was manager maybe would have wanted to give some ban but I control myself ;) .

Fired it up in Xp. WOW what a huge difference in framerates from vista. It's unbelievably smooth with 4xaa 8xaf, and everything on high 1280x1024. - i didn't realize tree's were breakable in dx9!

if we're forced to play everything on high while using vista anyway, (because very high results in unplayable framerates) might as well just play it in xp for the added boost.

Yeah I just played in xp as well. Seemed much smoother wasn't choppy. 1680x1050 all settings high no aa no af.

Does this demo look as bad as the MP beta with no AA or AF?

The jaggies in MP were killing me.
