i got the new nvidia drivers, and i don't get that.

BTW, anyone tried running DX10 on High? instead of Very High? Does it run faster then DX9 High?

I got it with 169s too. it gets fixed when you force AA via the game and not CP. set AA to application controlled and force it in game.

It played alot better then I thought it was going to I played with everthing set to high and no FSAA at 1920x1200 and I was getting 46 to 22 most of the time it stayed at 26fps.I was useing fraps ,but if I did'nt have fraps on I would have thought it was playing in the 60 because it was smooth at 26fps and I did'nt even get no slow downs or pauses ,It was the smoothest game I ever played with a average of 26fps.turning on FSAA at 1920x1200 just killed it ,it was a jerk show.I had SLI on I don't know if that help but it was smooth.Surprise me.this was with windows XP.

yes they are the latest. that's pretty strange though, I only got White trees when I forced AA through Nvidia CP...and that was on Medium, at Very High or High, I never encountered any such problems. weird:headexplode:

I get the Christmas trees when I force AF in DX10.

no option that I know of. try setting "Enhance the application" and then force AF. see if that works :)

Removing AF from CP fixed it! .. "enhance" is only for AA!

So no one knows how to use AF for DX10 within game ?? you all guys playing with no AF ? :wtf:

Well thats a solution to the glow trees, but no AF is not good (no AF always reminds me of consoles  ), I think either the game itself or the drivers for DX10 still need work.

I wouldnt be suprised if we can't play in DX10 at very high settings and high resolutions at 30+ framerates until at LEAST SLI for 8800 is working, or 9800 whenever that comes out.

Crysis screams for a 9800, as long as you have a Quad or C2D at 3GHz or above the CPU is fine.

Fun demo to play around with. OMG that sequence at the end was a slideshow for me.

Been playing DX9, all high, 1920x1200. Sluggish in the fights, but still playable. My fists are definitely the weapon of choice.

Crysis look like a typical game of 360 X 4 , paralax in the floor but superblurry textures at 1 meter - because the AF = 0

no we just force it in the control panel... seems to have a big performance impact in DX10 Vista though so i keep it off... in DX9 XP its a much smaller impact and i use 8xAF through the control panel

Is the 169.01 drivers supposed to be any faster in windows XP ,I use 163.75 all the way though and it was smooth ,even in fire fights I did'nt see much of a slow down went from 26fps to 20 fps but it was'nt jerky. Is Vista faster then XP when playing the same settings.

Did you try to add AF command into cfg? I had no time to test it myself yet.

that divx plug-in hates windows aero.

on an another note, that demo was nice, where is the full version?

and on yet another note, we've all been happily sitting with stock speed settings on our video cards for the last 6 months. It's time to get back into some overclocking!
