God, how many times are you going to change your messages? Does your mood change every five minutes like a teenage girl? It's ok. I won't put you on ignore. I don't feel inferior or threated by anyone on the internet that compels me to ignore them. Anyways, enjoy your stay here if you get this message! (nana2)

Haha. Nah, it was just a misunderstanding. But emotions tend to run high when it comes to this game. First waiting for beta keys, then demo gets delayed and now finally getting to play it leads to massive outbursts and heated discussions.
Anyways, wont happen again. ;)

Now if i could get some decent vista 64 creative drivers and stop the .01's from screwing up every 2 seconds. This demo would rock, I had it working for a couple days on 32bit DX10, only medium in PP, vh everything else. It looked grrrreat, and I was getting decent fps.
I just hate vista.. :thumbdwn:

now i am going to be sneaking around cloaked up, trying to see what they are doing. Pretty cool how they are smoking and resting at that 1 checkpoint past the beach.
There is one checkpoint/mini-base that has a small "poop house", and it isn't empty. :D

Wow! Those are impressive numbers! Whether I trust them or not......that's another story.
On a side note, they figured out how to get 64bit DX10 working (don't know if this is old news or not). Just set vsync to force on and multi-display to single display performance mode. Voila. 64bit crysis in DX10.

multi-display as in multiple monitors? (like dualview) or something within the game? and how can you force vsync without going into the game. it always crashes on the splash screen for me.

Hey guys. Seems like I was completely wrong about the lighting in DX9. You can get the same exact lighting you see in Very High Shaders in DX10 with DX9 in XP. I don't know why I never noticed it until now. Even the depth of field is more accurate just like in DX10 Very High. Honestly, now I can't think of anything that DX10 can do that DX9 can't in this game.

How bout volumetric smoke/physics?
I'm glad I sold my 8800gtx before the 8800gt came out and this Crysis demo came out. :p
Not impressed thus far.

Holy cow. I went from 1280x1024 down to 1024x768 and am keeping a pretty constant 60fps with Shaders\Textures\Water:Very High and the rest set to medium  I love being able to do ANY res on my 100lb 24" CRT monitor :D
