AA works with Medal of Honor Airborne, and not that it only works it runs freaking fast. Same for Jericho. This set brings a totally new level of gaming experience, and it looks like we didn't even see the full potential of 8800GTX card. I'm playing Jericho all highest with AA4x AF8x...freaking flyies.

Any improvements for BioShock for you...if you have the game? Does AA work in it now? Even in DX10 mode? I can't tell much of a performance difference in BioShock, but I think there's hardly anymore performance to squeeze out of a 7800 GTX.

hmm..for me these drivers were nothing but trouble...crashed call of juarez and lost planet shows wireframe in directx 10 mode..not impressed thus far.. had to go back to older drivers..will try again I guess...

ok here's what's borked with these drivers- CSAA does not work with directx10(causes wireframe mode in lost planet directx10 and call of juarez crashes the pc with these as well), bioshock crashes the whole pc on exit, and directx10 games in sli are still not officially supported. Nhancer will not work with these so I can't force sli profiles with the compatibility flags they need to work in directx 10.
good news is that the games that do work work very well. the crysis mutiplayer beta I have goes up to perfectly playable at 16csaa and 16x aniso at 1920x1200. no shadow flickering either as I got with earlier drivers.
These drivers will be great when they get some whql treatment I guess but right now they just bork too many things. They were crysis centered I guess with little thought to other things.
Also vsync + directx10 + sli still hate eachother. I think that is why they make so many directx10 games still run in single gpu mode without user intervention. it's kind of ridiculous.

If you have the Creative Labs drivers released this month then uninstall them and reinstall the previous drivers.

Both Lost Planet and Bioshock work perfectly for me with these drivers, and it appears that AA is working with DX10 in Bioshock. Then again, i didn't play too much of it.
Edit: double checked Bioshock, AA appears to be working for me.

I've had the same old creative drivers for quite a while..at least the last few months.
and FSAA was not working for me in bioshock Directx 10.
Call of Juarez crashed at startup. old drivers no crash.
Will lost planet run 16xCSAA in directx10mode without wireframes everywhere?
also is sli working in it? I checked the profiles and nvidia disables sli in lost planet directx 10 and call of juarez directx 10.
When I installed these drivers I had properly uninstalled the previous ones.

Rivatuner won't let me OC my card with these drivers... even after reboot.
edit: updated to rt beta... no prob
You need to use Expertool 5.6beta3 for these 169.01 forcewares.

Does anyone have a link for Expertool 5.6? I've been using 5.0 and can't find a link on Google for 5.6..
TIA!

A good set, noticed FPS improvements in World In Conflict, Company of Heroes DX10 and even Crysis.
Yep finally UE3 games are getting AA treatment!!
UT3 still run smoothly @1600x1200,4xAA,16xAF albeit performance is lower. (no AA minfps ~ high 40s , with 4xAA minfps ~ high 30s)

These drivers actually fix the Vista grey bar bug in PowerDVD Ultra, now I don't have to reduce the brightness therefore IQ is improved! :D
Very impressed!
Crysis DX9 runs decent too.

I remembered a long time ago when ATI released the 8500 and it trumped Nvidia's equivalent (can't recall the model, 5600?). Nvidia then released a new set of drivers that actually improved performance but with lower quality visuals o r something.
I was just wondering if its the case here. Not meaning to kick up a storm, just wondering that's all.

No, lol, G80 has pretty much the best IQ ever seen on a graphics card. The FX series weren't powerful enough, G80 is, whole whole different ballgame.
