Umm...how do you run the benchmark?
Edit: NM. I see you just have to double click the different .bat files to start the timedemo benchmark.

i was going to guess windows XP (DX9) but i wanted to make sure before looking like a moron :)
in DX9 my framerates on all high settings are awesome (30-40+) but switching to DX10 mode severely cripples framerates
DX9 + High settings = awesome frames, perfectly playable
DX10 + High settings = sub-30fps, not quite enjoyable, even though it looks for the most part exactly the same

I actually played the demo with 163.76 last night. If thats true, I just installed the slower driver (169.01). :headexplode:

Only CPU minimum is slower and i ran the bench twice, i dont why that one is slower.
Anyone turn 8xAF/16xAF and get white trees off in the distance? :|
Anyone turn 8xAF/16xAF and get white trees off in the distance? :|
On other forums this seems to be caused by to high an overclock on the video card.
This game demo and ATI's Whiteout demo are my new graphics stabilty tests, I've seen nothing else hit this hard.
