Available resolutions ???

Hi! I have 24" Dell 2407wfp-hc and 8800gts and I've noticed that on Vista64 with 163.69whql I miss 1440x900 resolution in display properties and it is also unavailable in games. I have the latest driver for the monitor which is several months old and I can't remember whether this particular resolution was there with other driver versions. The only 16:10 resolutions I am able to use are 1280x800 which is too low, 1680x1050 which is too high for crysis for instance and the native 1920x1200 which is applicable only for games like HL2 on my vid card :(

I'd love to know how to fix this too. I need that 1440x900 res. :D

They removed 1280x960 again with the last couple driver releases and this is how I got it back:

That guide is for XP drivers i fear. The said file to edit does not exist with the vista drivers.

Edit: with the new 169.09 beta you can make a costum resolution with rivatuner. Then reboot and it works (didn't with 169.04).

the new 169.12 has that resolution ,but it does not have the 1280x960 so I had to add that one before I installed it since i use that one for my desk top.
