View Full Version : TwinView (ie two screens) cannot get to work.

Hello all more learnered peoples...

I am not a compleate noob when it comes to this but I am still lacking in some areas.

But I have (i belive) followed all the examples of the XF86Config.sample wrt twinview but I am unable to get it too work.

I do get a over sized screen though (off to th e right) but no secont monitor.

Here is my xf96config file as an attachemnt

any help is kindly appreciated.

Can you please attach a copy of your /var/log/XFree86.0.log file?

(II) NVIDIA(0): Virtual screen size determined to be 2048 x 1024This is your problem - change "1280X1024" to "1280x1024" (X vs. x) and see if it works.

Thanks for the help!

did not know that the X or x were case sensitive. But all is working now...

I just have 1 other question...

How do I limit a game that changes into a "direct X" full screen game like in windows. too just use 1 screen. It is an open GL full screen game called Neverwinter nights. I hope I explained it alright...

or so it is 2048X1024 not 4096X1024. and can fit into monitor0 in windowed mode.
