View Full Version : 8800GT SLI XP or Vista?

I just sold my XFX 8800GTX XXX and bought myself a ABIT IN9 32X-MAX and 2 8800GT's to have some fun and to game @ 1920x1200. :D

Now I dont know what to do. Should I install XP or should I use Vista 64 bit? I have both. I read all kind of things on the internet how SLi in Vista sucks. I wonder if its true? Is it really that bad, and should I use XP for that reason?

Or are the Vista drivers good enough for SLi these days?

i would say xp FOR NOW. for me, personally, xp has been better at handling games so far than vista. although vista is still an awesome os, i would say go for xp.

Vista. XP's days are numbered with no DX10 support and archaic driver integration, and SLI support has greatly improved in the newer OS.

I run Vista64 exclusively. Sli is great now.
