Has Intel made a REAL quad core for us yet? Meaning that all 4 cores share the same on chip memory (cache) ? Any news on them coming out?

:wtf:

Think you're confused. A "real" quad-core should have cached dedicated to each core. Not the other way around...

hehe, yea, the unified memory is actually very ideal, I wish all 4 cores could use the one L2, but split 2 ways is ok too. Split 4 ways would be inefficient and costly unless they were small L2's.
