The logo can only be disabled - it can't be changed.

You could make at least a new splash logo design for next release...as a change. Something fancy.

Hi,
Ok, so how do you disable the splash screne on the linux driver then?
I don't want to replace the image I just want it out of the load...(too bright!)

I installed the nvidia driver from the SuSE online update, it went great.
I Cannot reccomend The SuSE Linux 8.2 Pro Enough !
(2 DVDs or 5 CDs 1000 very usable Apps for $80 ~ Microsoft Be Afrade, Be Very Afrade; If you are not, You Will Be...)

Ok, the install was good and activating the 3d acceleration is a check box, Sweet. I was actually very suprized to see a splash logo flash between X login sessions it's there for only a second but it's too white for a large monitor.
At nite it is blinding when the lights are dim...

Thaks for a heads up on this,
Paul

quote from the readme:

Option "NoLogo" "boolean"
Disable drawing of the NVIDIA logo splash screen at
X startup. Default: the logo is drawn.

So add

Option "NoLogo" "true"

to the "Device" sections of your XF86Config or XF86Config-4 file.
