ooops, sorry I voted for BFG from the title of the thread. I don't own a 8800 GT.

I had the EVAG SC pre-ordered too for about 2 -3 days ... i got sick of waiting and ordered a Inno3D 8800 GT 512MB instead ..... i was abit dodgey about buying a Inno3D brand having always used evga in the past but i though what the hell .... so glad i ordered it now ... Inno3D have just won another fan! ... packaging was good\solid\safe, sticker is sweet & i got a free game(tomb raider lol) why pay 180+ for a card when i can get the same one 20 cheaper and overclock it(all they have done is took a stock card and flashed the bios and are charging you a extra 10 or more, i could flash it my self)! who needs 10 year warrenty? its covered by ebuyer for a year, i never have my cards more than a year! and ive never ever used the step-up program! gonna buy a second Inno3D GT(160)in afew weeks for SLi.

one happy chappy. :)

Just as I thought EVGA takes the lead by a land slide

They warranty removal of the heat sinks, they allow you to trade up, they have a lifetime warranty... It's a no brainer!

I prefer what i used the most & had troubles with it the least , thus MSI.

I've had several XFX and EVGA versions, and both have been phenominal. It does help though when we are talking about a Ti4200, a 6800GT, and an 8800GTX though too. :D

Personally I just go for the cheapest card. Point of view ftw!!!

11-02-07, 12:11 AM

:lol2: What a suprise that jAkUp voted EVGA.

11-02-07, 12:17 AM
evga... that's what I just ordered. :D

Where's the "doesn't matter to me as long as it works" option?

11-02-07, 01:14 AM
So far all the 8800GTs are reference card...so not much difference except that sticker...

For the clock part i would OC myself rather than paying a premium price :), however if you could find a OCed card with a same price as the default one then its another story :D

EVGA: price and the all important "step-up" program. This 8800GT rocks...but if the new version of the GTS comes out and spanks the GT...we'll be steppin' on up!

Gainward. :p
Though all my previous nVidia cards were from Leadtek.

eVGA,BFG, those are out of reach for us down here.

Leaves us with Leadtek, MSI, Gigabyte and ASUS.

Of which ASUS is the most expensive..by quiet alot actually. Leadtek is my preference. As they are usually cheaper.

Asus is really expensive, they may supply a game or two..but it is usually games that i already own or suck..and i buy it for the card -.-...not for the stuff that come which never gets used..

Oh and this poll will be a huge lead on evga for sure. USA site. Its like the Crysis poll awhile back -.-.

I said evga, but BFG is quite awesome as well - they RMA'd my 6800GT in about one week. EVGA props mainly b/c of the step-up program and usually higher-standard free games tho :)

I like cards from MSI the most but my current card is the still great 7900 GTO from eVga

11-02-07, 03:25 PM
GTS 640mb-Leadtek ,Cheapest
GT-Inno3D ,Cheapest

But my G92 GTS will be a nice Superclocked EVGA / XFX / BGA as I'll be keeping it a while and they OC better.

I plan to sell hopefully before the GT price drops too low but when the GTS' have a decent stock level so I dont have to pre-order and worry about actually getting the thing (like with my GT)
