I just want to explore the island without the bad guys bothering me. Anyone know of cheats that disables enemy AI or god mode maybe?

To list the Crysis Cheats, read as follows.

AHA!!!! I've Cracked them!!!

Go to the difficulty files in your Crysis folder (ie: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config). They are called diff_easy.cfg, diff_normal.cfg, diff_hard.cfg and diff_bauer.cfg. Open the file (with Notepad) of the difficulty level you are currently playing. Add the following line to the end of the file and save it:

God Mode:
g_godMode = 1

*NOTE* In God mode, you will still lose health, but you will not die!

Unlimited Ammo:
i_unlimitedammo = 1

No weapon limit:
i_noweaponlimit = 1

No Target:
ai_IgnorePlayer = 1

To modify your suit stats:

g_suitCloakEnergyDrainAdjuster = 0
g_suitRecoilEnergyCost = 0
g_suitSpeedEnergyConsumption = 0
g_suitSpeedMult = 2
g_suitArmorHealthValue = 400.0
g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTime = 0

I've been testing ways to get these to work, and as far as i can tell, the best way to do it is to stick the command in your autoexec.cfg

God Mode

The unlimited ammo worked for me but not the god mode :(

Remember, for God mode, it will still drop your health, but you will not die.

For No Target, add ai_IgnorePlayer = 1 to your difficulty settings.

For unlimited energy, you'll have to edit the difficulty settings again.

Anyone remember the dev mode cheat in farcry? You pressed F3 and it gave you fly mode, you pressed f2 and it would take you to the different parts of the map, you pressed o and it enabled god, p would enable all weapons, can this be done on the demo ? I see the editor has some of those listed above enabled.

also how can I type commands in console ? Whatever command I type it says "wrong command"

These cheats could come in handy if we get another level like the one in Far Cry where you were left with 10 bullets and loads of mutants down the waterfall.

:( From what i can tell, you can't modify the settings of strength mode, at least via commands anyway.

Tested quite thoroughly, found that all of these work.. But not completely... In the case of Unlimited Ammo, the shotgun still uses up all of it's ammo, which is annoying, coz it's the best weapon to go "predator" with at close range.

maybe it's been posted.....i dunno but i tried the god mode and ammo thing as posted above and ......i also noticed the armor, speed, "time" delay stuff in the different difficulty settings too......so i changed the speedsuite energy comsumption down to like 2......and i tried it and had unlimited speed ...........it was kinda fun running the entire map in full speed..... i guess i will try the armor, and the others now too.

That worked like a charm!

10 weapons, unlimited ammo and godmode. This game just went from fun to really fun. Nothing like spraying 25 rockets in a row and destroying everything! :D
