The need to make it easier to grab someone, like i know you grab em fromt he throat but what about from behind?

Also I can probably fix it but c'mon triple tap should take these guys down, not an entire clip!

I have mixed results with aiming for the head. They don't always go down with 1 shot.

you must go for a central nervous shot, detach the brain stem from the cerebral cortex...

Crysis is one of those games that just has too many buttons to map and keep up with. There's no way I can efficiently use all of the abilities like leaning, going prone, switching suit abilities in the heat of battle and so on.

I Disagree. sans the suit controls, all the buttons are standard PC FPS buttons. furthermore, you can change Suit mode by Middle mouse. so I don't know why you find it that difficult:)

PS: Please change the thread name, it's Crysis

Do you use the keyboard or a game pad? I've got a nostromo and it works great. All the buttons are easily accessible. Center mouse wheel click jumps to the suit mode menu.

I wonder how they came up with the bright idea to surround the big nuke explosion animation with stupid vertical smoke trails. Surely, they must realize that those smoke trails commonly seen in the 50's test footage were there to provide visual markers for the shockwave progress and were achieved by launching the smoke rockets all around the test device just before the detonation. Ain't gonna happen on a battlefield.

Seriously. Crysis is so unrealistic.

what i donīt like about Crysis DEMO!!! is that DX9 mode has been made bad for the DX10īs sake so they made DX9 bad to make DX10 look better so i like no more Crytek or Crysis but since it is so so of course i gotta have it but i think COD4 might be mor popular than Crysis

For the ones who have no problems with the hit system (taking some many hits to kill), you all have a different feel for a game than I do. I have lots of games and none of them felt this unnatural except Stalker. All the others have felt "right" in the weapon to kill feel. This one just doesn't for me. I thought Far Cry in this regard was perfect. Right number of hits closest to real life, it actually felt like you were shooting someone. This seems like it was done on purpose in Crisis to make the game more frustrating and maybe last longer. I like head shots as much as the next guy but body shots should do the trick too. Shoot someone in the chest with body armor on, see how long he stays standing. Not long, just the impact alone is going to knock him on his ass. In this game it's like they're being hit with BBs. I hope there is some kind of adjustment that can be done in the retail game.

The retail game has different types of ammo, armor-piercing and incendiary and somehow you got to balance things out. The reflex site is not that great for the map either and rather useful for CQB or indoors. ACOG would be better for mid-long range assaults on the demo map.
