I would have rather seen a 169.** set...oh well, these basically just add SLI stuff for the Orange Box games.

Anyone know if this driver has the performance level switching bug like the recent betas?

This driver seems to be the first driver after the 91.47 that is working on my XFX 7800 XXX. Since yesterday no BSOD like all predecessors. I'll be scrutinizing...

I wonder when the next generation will be offered that will run crysis on a playable level. The 8800GT or even the renewed 8800GTS are helpless on crysis.

Why is there so little discussion about this driver?

Mmm, no 8800GT support? :thumbdwn:

I wonder the same thing.

100+ in the gaming forum about the games but 10 in the driver forum.

The driver is what helps play the game so we need more duscussion on the drivers too.

I'll give Crysis a whirl with these drivers and get back to you guys. ;)

I can confirm that it does support the 8800GT. I'm running it with my eVGA 8800GT KO.

This driver is more stable for me than the 169.02 and 169.04 beta.

Yeah, performance is much decreased from 169.04 (I'm getting 3-5 frames less plus my overclock is causing the game to crash now even though it was working fine before) :(
