anyone notice that half of the first page of the gaming section is sticky threads?
I'm still surprised Crysis has it's own section.
Are we going to start making sections for every new over-hyped game that every one will forget about in 2 months?

Nothing wrong with stickies IMO.
Christmas game season trolls, on the other hand...

i still say there should be one thread (well my thread) what include links to all these "official" game thread. so if someone would be looking for specific official thread. Go to directory and find it very easy.

We have always done this.
HL2, Doom 3, Quake 4, Oblivion... all had their own forums. :)
As far as stickies, they are a good thing. They eliminate the need for a new thread every time someone has a question or comment about a game.
When activity drops in a sticky, it gets unstuck. If there are a lot of stickies, its because there are a lot of important threads that are still active.
This is one of the busiest times for gaming we've ever had around here. Expect a lot of stickies.

Crysis warrants its own section. Any time 50%+ of the front page threads are for one game it should get its own sub forum.

Yep... it's nice not to have all those threads clogging the gaming section.

QFT. Crysis having it's own thread is nice.
Crysis deserves its own sub-forum.
