"We are very proud to have achieved our first billion dollar quarter. And, while it is a wonderful milestone to reach, we believe this is just the beginning," said Jen-Hsun Huang, president and CEO of NVIDIA. "Our core businesses are continuing to grow as the GPU becomes increasingly central to today's computing experience in both the consumer and professional market segments." :headbang:

At the price of video cards it not really a surprise... lol. All in all though, I hope they use that to do more research and release better and better products and not sit on their asses and just collect (like Intel did years ago) :)

Wow, 2 percent of the market games on a PC and buys Nvidia products and they made that much money.

Thats why no price cuts on GTX's ha?

[pErMan']All in all though, I hope they use that to do more research and release better and better products and not sit on their asses and just collect (like Intel did years ago) :)I listened to the earnings conference call. I recall Jen-Hsun commenting that of the 400 or so employees NVIDIA hired this year, that most of them are working in research and development.
